Repair vs. Replacement???
What you need to know:
- The age of your existing equipment (We can tell you if you don't know)
- Well-maintained equipment has an effective life span of 10 to 15 yrs
- Repairs carry up to a 90-day warranty for parts and labor
- Replacement units carry a 1 to 5 year warranty for parts
- And a 1-year warranty on labor
- Equipment over 10+ years old may be working but probably not operating efficiently
What to do next:
- Schedule a service call. $85.00 in most cases (worth every penny)
- A diagnosis will be made including a quote for the repair along with a determination of the age of the equipment
- Typically a quote for a replacement unit can also be given at this time for comparision. An additional appointment (no charge) may be required.
- Most repairs can be done the same day. Diagnosis fee waived upon repair
- Most replacements can be scheduled within one week. Diagnosis fee waived upon replacement
- If you choose not to repair or replace the unit you only owe us $85.00 for the diagnosis.
- If you know your equipment is beyond repair due to age or a previous diagnosis skip the diagnosis (save yourself $85.00) and call us today to make an appointment with an estimator (no charge) to quote a replacement unit.
Duct Testing
New energy laws go into effect October 1, 2005 requiring duct leakage testing for all commercial and some residential systems where equipment is being changed out. See link below or call us for additional information.
